1 .- CEDER La Serena in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Junta de Extremadura and the Hon. Diputación de Badajoz, and the advice of the University of Extremadura and the Union of Bibliophiles Extremadura and the support of the Caja de Badajoz, announces the Tenth Edition of Research Awards and Creative Writing at La Serena.
2 .- For this tenth edition defines two modes: Research

1. historical, artistic, sociological, economic, and popular traditions.
2. Creative Writing, in any genre. 3 .-

is open to all authors who meet the following requirements according to type:
- Category A: Are developing research on the area of \u200b\u200bLa Serena.
- Mode B: Born or linked to the region of La Serena.
4 .- In the work of the type A form will be assessed particularly on the local district level, and informative style about the overly academic and specialized.
5 .- The prize is publication on behalf of the sponsoring agencies and partners of the winning entries and a prize of 1,000 euros. Be provided to the author of more than 100 individuals per site, at 50 copies per author.
6 .- The work will be unpublished and not be subject to editing commitments. The ASSIGN "La Serena" reserves the right to edit and reissue as appropriate, of the winning, without any right accruing to the authors, who are recognized as the property of the work. Four years after the date of decision, the complainant will have the free disposal of his work.
7 .- Each author may submit original many wants, and four copies of each, in separate, numbered, typed double-spaced on DIN A-4 (a copy in electronic form), in perfect clarity and without the author's signature, replaced by an alias written on your header that will also appear on the outside of the attached envelope, containing: name, surname, nationality, address and telephone number of the author, and a slight bibliographical note.
8 .- Participants in these awards should provide:

• Ensuring that the work will not be a copy or total or partial modification of any other persons.
• Commitment by the author, not to withdraw the work after the beginning of the competition.
• Consent to publish the work in other media, and their inclusion in journals or other publications, in part.

9 .- There shall be a minimum of 150 pages for the research award. In the form of Creative Writing is not set minimum size the jury's verdict based on the quality of work submitted.
10.-The papers can be submitted directly or by certified mail at the Office of CEDER "La Serena" located in the Plaza of Spain, s / n. Castuera 06420 (Badajoz), indicating on the envelope "X Research Awards, and the manner in which to participate. The deadline for receipt of original expires at 14:00 of October 1, 2010.
11 .- A reading committee composed of qualified persons determined to be the original through to the final of the Awards and will be presented to the members of the jury.
12 .- For the fault will be a selection board shall consist of one representative from each of the following entities: Diputación Provincial de Badajoz, Ministry of Culture, University of Extremadura, UBEX, Caja de Badajoz and CEDER "La Serena "which will be freely appointed and accepted as appropriate for each.
13 .- The prize may be awarded if the court deems appropriate.
14 .- Awarded the prize Non-winning authors may withdraw their work may present a second and final edition.
